Fisherman Welfare Project Bhola, Bangladesh (Zakat Eligible)

In Bangladesh many families are having miserable life who live under the poverty line. In rural areas such as Bhola, situation is even worse. Many of them cannot afford food on a daily basis. On top of that, some families take high interest loan to survive, and cannot even repay.

The main purpose of this project is to support them by creating some source of income. Based on the specific family's capability and options they have, we try to give money to buy cows or goats, or build a shop, or buying a rickshaw or sewing machine, or whatever is feasible for them. Sometimes we payoff their high interest loan. Also, helping them to build home who doesn't have any.
